We decided to make the carving of Rylie's pumpkin a whole family affair. Rylie helped Mom clean out the insides while Mom and Dad took turns carving the face (Dad did most of the carving). We think we did a pretty good job since it was Rylie's first time and neither Mom nor Dad had done one since they were kids.
Rylie loves playing in her tube. She takes her toys and her sippy cup in there with her. It's so cute to listen to her giggle when you tap the top of it or push her ball through to the other end.
Every night after we get home, Rylie loves to watch Elmo. While watching it, she's either got her Handy Manny Tools or her Disney characters. She also enjoys wearing her shades around the house even though it's dark outside. 
We took Rylie to Minneapolis, MN to visit her Aunt Kristy. On Friday, we all went to the famous Mall of America. I would have to say that Rylie's favorite store was American Girl. I think she's going to have to wait a couple of more years though before she gets one of those dolls. Saturday, we went downtown and strolled along the mighty Mississippi River. It's the only spot on the river that has a significant waterfall (Saint Anthony Falls). They even have to use a lock system to get the boats up and down it. Before we left on Sunday, we took Rylie across the street from Kristy's place so she could play on the slide right next to Lake Calhoun. They aren't lying when they say MN is the land of the lakes. They're everywhere up there.
