Dad's NFL Double Header...

Dad had an awesome football weekend. First we tailgated and went to the Colts/Ravens game in Indianapolis. It was a pretty cool tailgate considering it is mid January. There was about a hundred people and a local band "Dave and Rae" played exclusively for our tailgate lot. After the Colts dismantled the Ravens, we got home around 12:30 and finally got to bed around 1am.

Dad then got up at 4am to make sure he caught his 6am flight to Minneapolis to see his beloved Dallas Cowboys get their butt kicked by the Minnesota Vikings. The atmosphere at the game was amazing!!! It was so loud that I could barely talk to my sister sitting next to me. Too bad the 'boys lost, but the experience was worth every penny...I got back to Indianapolis around 10:30 Sunday night. What a wild 24 hours. It was probably a once in a lifetime chance go watch my two favorite teams play in playoff games within 20 hours of each other...Mom and Rylie were much more rested come Monday morning... :)

Pretty in Pink

Grandma bought this pretty pink dress for Rylie for Xmas. She looks so cute in it. We had to take pictures because it's very rare that Mom ever puts Rylie in dresses.

Christmas Morning

Mom & Dad thought everyone was kidding when they said that Rylie would be up at 5 am on Xmas morning, but they weren't. Luckily, she didn't notice that Santa Clause had already been there and she was shuffled off to our room to watch cartoons before she woke the rest of the house up. She was amazed and had lots of fun opening her gifts. She must've been a really good girl this year because Santa brought her all kinds of fun toys.

Christmas Eve

Aunt Kristy and Grandma & Grandpa Watt came in to stay with us for the holiday. We all pigged out on great food (well most of us anyway, Rylie did her usual and didn't eat much) and had a great time. Then after we got Rylie down for the night (which wasn't easy - she was having so much fun playing with Grandpa's gloves on the air mattresses), Dad had the pleasure of putting toys together so they would be ready for Rylie on Xmas morning.

Helping Mom decorate the Christmas tree...

Rylie was a big help this year when it came to decorating the tree. She even likes to try and redecorate it when we get home in the evenings.
